Chapter 253 Sprite
The deposits of cultivation stones were everyone\'s destination.
Everyone would compete against one another to get their hands on the deposits, leading to a chaotic situation.
However, in the end, it was better to compete for existing resources rather than hoping to find some treasures in the city\'s ruins.
Kyle was currently not in need of any special treasures other than cultivation resources and beast souls to nourish Arash, and Selene, and to cultivate.
In fact, with Yasmine and Beatrice\'s wealth, even procuring cultivation resources may not be a necessity.
But that was only the case if one were to believe that their wealth was more than enough to allow everyone to advance through the Krysal stage.
Kyle knew that they didn\'t have enough resources to break into the Acerta, meaning that the cultivation stone deposits were something they required.
\'As long as we can fly, it won\'t take long to fly back to the city as well. I saw a few promising well-hidden treasures in the city\'s ruins. The hues of the things I saw were well hidden, so I won\'t have to fear anyone else finding them.\' Kyle thought confident.
The well-hidden treasures he had seen in the city\'s ruins were not his highest priority right now because it was unlikely for the others to find them.
Instead, the cultivation stone deposits were of far more importance.
They had to reach the mountain ring as quickly as possible to search for the deposits so that they would be able to make huge profits.
With that profit in their mind, Kyle and the two girls spend their third day resting a little bit before they continued to fly to the mountain ring.
In the end, they were amongst the first Cultivators to arrive at the mountain ring. The few Cultivators they saw were quite powerful and Kyle could see that their talent was also high.
It was obvious that they were the cream of the crop belonging to the Queen\'s most important batch of trainees.
However, Kyle was actually not interested in them as he, Selene, and Yasmine remained high in the air.
\'Mana, Primordial Energy, and Spiritual force are considered living existences by the Nurture ability. It shouldn\'t be difficult to find the deposits of the cultivation stones underground.\'
The only difficulty should be to find the fastest path to the deposit of cultivation stones.
Flying alongside the mountain ring, Kyle\'s eyes were fixated on the ground below the mountain.
He was able to see the hues of many elemental attributed ore deposits and numerous monsters living underground within the mountains.
However, what he didn\'t find was one of the deposits belonging to cultivation stones.
\'Well, it is not like I expected to find anything directly.\' He consoled himself before they spend the remaining day flying alongside the mountain ring.
While flying, they encountered a few flying beasts at the Vitae stage. Killing them was no problem for Yasmine, who had chosen to act as their bodyguard from the threats of the air.
Kyle was thankful for her help, while Selene envied her friend for receiving Kyle\'s thank.
Despite her envy, she didn\'t say anything because Selene knew that Yasmine was best at protecting them in the air, while Kyle focused on something else.
The night quickly passed and when it was early in the morning Kyle found something just as the sun rose over the mountain ring.
"I found a big deposit. Let\'s go down." Kyle just said before descending to the ground.
He found a few silverback pigs on his way down and chose to hunt them using crescent-shaped wind blades.
Kyle manifested more than a hundred wind blades, which he shot at the oblivious beasts that were no more than his emergency stockpile of soul energy.
After he created a bloodbath, Kyle stored the corpses in his spatial ring, just to take one of the first caves near the mountain he had landed on.
"Caves…sigh. I knew that we would have to enter dark and narrow places the moment we approached the mountain ring, but still…" Yasmine grumbled, feeling helpless.
Her fiery wings were tightly attached to her back as she followed Kyle inside the cave.
Yasmine was not slowing down or acting hesitating while stepping through the dark and narrow cave. However, her discomfort could be seen on her face.
She was a Half-phoenix, loved freedom and flying through the air.
Being underground and \'imprisoned\' was certainly not something she adored.
Unfortunately, being left alone on the surface was even less acceptable because Selene would have Kyle for herself the moment Yasmine were to decide to stay behind.
Selene was on Kyle\'s right and Yasmine walked to his left as they entered the depths of the cave.
Yasmine manifested several flames to illuminate the surrounding. The range she could control her flames freely easily crossed 100 meters as long as there were only small flames.
This was more than enough for them to find their way to the deposit of ores and cultivation stones.
"Are we approaching a Mana stone deposit?" Selene asked all of a sudden. She could sense that the mana density around her kept increasing.
The longer they walked through the tunnel, entering the deepest parts of the mountain, the denser the mana in her surroundings became.
Circulating mana through her body, Selene felt refreshed.
Yasmine felt similar and she momentarily forgot about the frustration of being in a small space. Right now, she would be able to cultivate in the path of Maest extremely quickly, and she predicted that the mana density around the Mana stone deposit would be several times higher.
"If we\'re not approaching a Mana stone deposit, I will eat a broom." Yasmine teased Selene, answering her obvious question.
"I think my cultivation progress would be five to ten times higher if I start cultivating next to the deposit of Mana stones. Should we cultivate for a few days?" She added after a moment of doubt.
From the situation on the surface, Yasmine could tell that it would take quite a while before others were to find the Mana stone deposit they got closer to with every single minute that passed.
Even if others were to know about their Mana stone deposit, finding the right path to the deposit would require several days if not for Kyle\'s ability to see the development paths of the raw mana stones.
"It should be fine if we stay behind for a few days. But a week should be the limit because it would be a waste to stay at one place for too long.
Right now we have a great advantage over others, even more so because we can find cultivation stone deposits quickly and we can fly, which is how we can avoid making detours due to the environment\'s hindrances." Kyle just said before adding something else that attracted both Selene and Yasmine\'s attention.
"And I doubt that the Guardian of the Mana stone deposit would allow us to stay too long, let alone to take everything from it, either way." He said, smiling mysteriously.
"Guardian? What do you mean?" Selene asked, slightly astonished that Kyle didn\'t mention anything like that beforehand. She unsheathed her daggers in an instant and darkness shrouded her blades. Selene was ready to fight at once!
While Selene was ready to fight with her life on the line, Yasmine looked rather intrigued.
"Did the high Mana density give birth to an Elemental?" She asked, completely forgetting about the narrow tunnel\'s existence.
Her steps accelerated and she was about to pass by Kyle for the sake of getting closer to the Guardian of the Mana stone deposit, just for Kyle to stop her.
"Elemental? Well, you could put it like that. But I think calling it a Sprite would be better."
The moment Yasmine heard what Kyle said she froze in her place and frowned as she looked at him slightly bewildered, and frustrated.
"A Sprite you said?"
